Design idea
A lakeshore residence, a garden cluster, and a tranquil paradise.The project is located in Yicun Village, Qingshen County of Sichuan Province. Based on the unique natural environment, two cultural and tourism centers (the Green Island of hotels and internet-famous island) and the two-park system (Bailu Lake Park and Binjiang Park), the project serves as a model for a high-performance and pleasant life driven by four core functions— “waterfront marina, high-end resort, recreational sports, and commercial leisure”.The design is inspired by the prototype of the traditional courtyards, preserving the spatial form, basic elements, architectural scale and spatial relationship of a courtyard cluster. On this basis, the project explores the possibility of re-creating traditional spaces with the theme of “Sky Villa” - “Tree House”. The “breathing house” would be possible to be realized by a geometric means. By reshaping the tortuous and staggered space, the courtyard would have new functions and spirits.
