The project was located at the prime location of the downtown area of Suzhou High-tech Zone. Due to the limited land size, the narrow and stretched complex buildings have only two ends facing the road. When we were involved, the project was started and we needed to reshape its image without changing the building outline. Our strategy was to give the building a unique value symbol: the hexagonal motifs, such as light, snowflakes, diamonds, and crystals, symbolize the lustre and brilliancy, can perfectly express the vitality and energy of the city. This symbol was also taken as the uniform language for the landscape and interior design. We gave different functions different facade styles, be it classical or fashionable. The facade of the residential is in neo-classical style, which reveals the quality of the luxurious residences, while the commercial has been more emphasized on creating a modern image with rich tastes.
