Design idea
The project was the renovation of an old commercial property located in China's most famous commercial street: Shanghai Nanjing West Road.Taking into comprehensive consideration of the commercial display, and lighting purpose, our design took a "light" approach to reshape an artistic, iconic, sensually appealing art business place. Differentiated from the traditional commercial advertising system, the cascading galaxy like LED curtain wall could be so flexible to serve a variety of commercial advertising purposes, and to form a unique artistic and iconic entrance image. The stone and light-transmission stained glass on the building facade continued to extend to the square paving, creating a rhythmic, and sensitive lighting system.
